Lavington United Church Human Resources Officer

Lavington United Church is seeking to recruit a talented professional, and professing Christian, into the role of Human Resources Officer.  This role will offer you an opportunity to broaden your leadership skills and HR Management capacity, by proactively leading and coordinating all HR activities across the Church Departments. You will be the initial point of contact for all operational HR related matters and will play a key role in the achievement of the mission of Lavington United Church and its branches, as well as the Lavington United Church Academy (LUCA).

Qualifications, Skill, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or the equivalent
  • Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) is desirable
  • Registration with Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
  • 3 years’ experience working with the Human Resource department as a generalist
  • A good working knowledge and understanding of labor laws and human resources fundamentals
  • Experience of working with human resource management systems
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Swahili
